Reasons Why Your Web Designer Doesn’t Want to Host Your Website?

Many people feel comfortable working with a professional web designer who not only designs a beautiful looking website but seems to grasp all of the internet’s mysteries. But website owners are always shocked that their web designer won’t be running their website. This makes no sense.
Yet there are plenty of reasons why your web designer does not host your site.
They’re Specialists
There’s a massive amount of stuff web designers need to learn. And for network administrators the same is true. While it’s true that similarity occurs, the roles are very different.
And much like the people who painted your house wouldn’t want to remodel your kitchen; they don’t want your web designer to host your website.
They Don’t Have the Human Resources
The web designer isn’t getting hundreds of thousands of customers. They can be a small business or even a single person.
If your web designer is running your website, when you have a technical problem you will be forced to call them. It may be mid-day when they’re around but they’re busy creating web pages.
Your web designer wants to relax, take several days off and go on holiday. Effective hosting companies can offer 24/7 support — real people getting paid for answering phones or responding to your email right away — and to address your issues.
Your web designer is not qualified to bear the burden.
They Can’t Charge Enough for It
This form of the program is good enough for the vast majority of small companies, non-profit organizations, sole practitioners, and with less than 100 workers, almost every other sort of non-tech, non-e-commerce enterprise.
They can recruit tech support people who know all programming languages, and many other items that are important for web hosting in Apache. Or put it another way, they can afford sophisticated help.
The web designer isn’t getting hundreds of thousands of customers. As we said, most web designers are small businesses or just a single individual with a few dozen active customers. Too many businesses don’t offer their hire enough.
They Don’t Want to Be a Bottleneck
If your client were to host your website, they would be doing so almost certainly as a reseller for an actual hosting service.
Then they can only serve as a conduit between you and the hosting service. They tell the hosting company when you are telling your designer about a question and instead, back and forth.
That is ineffectual. If your website is down, just talk to the hosting company make more sense for you and leave your designer to do what they do best: design.
