Vue.js
It was first released in 2014 as the greatest
alternative to Angular and React for generating SPAs and visually beautiful
user experiences. It's a progressive JavaScript framework that combines
Angular's (View Layer) and React.js' best features (Virtual DOM). It ensured
that Vue gained traction quickly. As a result, it has become one of the most
extensively used frameworks for developing responsive web applications.
Vue.js has gained popularity for designing intuitive
web interfaces, with over 180K stars on Github. With its flexible design
structure and TypeScript support, it has attracted the attention of numerous
web development companies and businesses. Vue is now used by over 167K websites,
according to a BuiltWith study. It also ranks first among the most starred web
frameworks on GitHub, among other things. It's no surprise that it'll soon rule
the web development market, given its functionality and popularity.
Flask
Flask is a Python WSGI framework that operates on a
web server rather than the user's browser. It's classified as a microframework
because it doesn't come with any tools or libraries. This framework also lacks
the database abstraction layer, form validation, and components. This is not to
say that Flask isn't functional. It's designed to keep the core basic while
still being extendable. After all, it allows developers to add libraries and
plugins to web projects, which is how it was accomplished in this framework.
It's a nimble framework that's steadily ascending the ranks and attracting
notice thanks to its adaptability.
Flask developers responded positively to
Stackoverflow's 2021 developer poll, stating that they are satisfied with the
framework and will continue to use it. Aside from that, 16.14 percent of
Statista respondents named Flask as one of the most popular web frameworks in
2021. Furthermore, according to Jetbrains, 46 percent of Python engineers
prefer to build web apps with Flask.
Given the recent trend of developers favoring
Python, Flask is considered one of the top Python web frameworks for building
modern and powerful online apps. Flask comes with a collection of default APIs
that provide unique functionality that can be added to an existing application.
As a result, Flask is an excellent solution for simple and small projects. It
is not, however, compatible with the building of full-stack apps.
Django
Django is a Python-based framework that is gaining
popularity among developers and businesses for its ability to create highly
scalable web applications. This framework can handle any client-side
requirement, from news sites to social networking web apps. This framework
works with any format, including HTML, JSON, and XML. It's a high-level Python
framework that's popular among programmers because of its practical and clear
design.
It's open-source and insanely fast when it comes to
backend development. This backend framework, which was created by experienced
developers, is the perfect choice for implementing powerful API features like
naive GraphQL integration. Django was named the most sought framework in the
Stackoverflow Developer survey for 2021, demonstrating its popularity.
Core
ASP.NET
With its flexible, scalable, and high-performance
capabilities, this advanced edition of ASP.NET is tempting corporations and
developers all over the world. In 2016, a Core version was released as an
open-source and modular framework to modernize and innovate ASP.NET's aging
tech stack to match new web development needs. Since then, it has grown in
prominence as a tool for building high-performance, secure, and modern web
applications. It also integrates well with JavaScript-based client-side
frameworks.
It has been identified as one of the most widely
used web frameworks in the Stackoverflow Developer Survey 2021. There are
currently 14,245 operational websites that use ASP.NET Core. To make it
cross-platform compatible, Microsoft rewrites it as a modular framework.
ASP.NET MVC and ASP.NET Web API are also combined into a single model. Even
though it barely has 0.19 percent of the global market share, it is
nevertheless preferred by some web designers.
