What is the difference between Posts vs. Pages in WordPress?

New WordPress users, for the most part, get confused between Page and Post. Usually, WordPress comes with 2 different types of content: page and post.
Any WordPress beginner is likely to wonder what is the difference between pages and posts?
They look identical in the WordPress dashboard and on the website too. You must use pages and posts correctly while creating new content and making your website more user-friendly is also helpful.
In this blog, we’ll clarify all of the variations in WordPress between page and post.
What is Page in WordPress?
WordPress website is used for the content of a static nature like your blog, email, contact website, privacy policy, etc. WordPress sites do not have a date published or changed, because they are regarded because of eternal entities.
WordPress pages are often used for our public when we want to publish static content. Static content means the evergreen page that remains until the domain expires. Pages are used when information is not regularly modified.
Therefore no date and time are available in the pages; they are not included in the RSS feeds by default. You can add and edit pages to WordPress dashboard whenever you like.
WordPress sites are not meant to be social media-friendly and thus do not have social networking buttons. Often, WordPress pages do not require users to delete their comments.
The pages and posts also look very close. Yet WordPress custom page templates feature comes in handy when you’re building a gallery page or landing pages.
What is Post in WordPress?
WordPress posts are a dynamic entity that may have published or changed the date, and articles published on your blog page. WordPress articles are organized in reverse chronological order i.e. the newest article is on top and the oldest article is in the bottom.
WordPress is best suited for blogging so you’ll use posts for much of the content on your website. When you want to write an article about something in your niche, breaking news, or an event, it would be more fitting to post it in WordPress. You can add and edit posts whenever you wish to in the WordPress dashboard.
